Above-ground Backflow, Surrey Campbell Heights

PRV Chambers & Kiosks

Location: Surrey, BC
Engineer: Binnie & Associates
Contractor: B&B Contracting with EMCO WW# 839

Project Notes:

An above-ground Pressure-Reducing Valve (PRV) package is housed in a custom-made Kiosk. It connects to the in-ground piping using victaulic couplings (in orange). Prior to complete installation, in-ground piping is supplied and installed with a spacer beam complete with test heads to hold piping, plumb, and level it, and allow for leak testing. Other types of PRV stations are installed in the ground in concrete chambers and backfilled.
